Buffalo Wings & Rings International is thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s dart team at the 2024 BetVictor World Cup of Darts, held from June 27 to 30 in Frankfurt, Germany. This marks Bahrain’s second consecutive participation in this prestigious event, highlighting the growing passion for sports within the region and the critical role Buffalo Wings & Rings plays in promoting athletic excellence.

The Bahraini team, comprising Mr. Bassem Mahmoud and Mr. Duda Durra, secured their place through stellar performances in the national qualifiers, where they emerged as the top two local players. Mahmoud, the worldwide Arab Champion ranked 111th globally, and Durra have demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill, reflecting the spirit of determination and sportsmanship that Buffalo Wings & Rings values deeply.

As the only Arab nation among the participants, Bahrain faced a challenging group, competing against formidable opponents such as the Czech Republic, ranked 12th in the world, and Iceland. Despite not advancing to the qualifiers, the Bahraini team’s participation is a testament to their growing prowess and the robust support system provided by Buffalo Wings & Rings International.

In addition to their commendable performance, Bassem Mahmoud and Duda Durra had the unique opportunity to engage with the world champions, Michael Smith and Luke Humphries, during a special event hosted by Buffalo Wings & Rings Bahrain on June 8th. England, unsurprisingly, clinched the championship, maintaining their top-ranked position in the world.
